How buying a game works

Your money is held by BLOXG until the game and everything listed is yours.

  1. Pick a game

Every listing shows live players and visits from Roblox, the seller's revenue figures and exactly what's included.

  2. Pay into escrow

Buy now or make an offer. Your payment (card or BLOXG wallet) is held by BLOXG, not sent to the seller.

  3. Seller transfers it

The seller hands over the group or experience and every included item, ticking each one off on your order page.

  4. Confirm, then they're paid

Check you own it, then confirm. Something wrong? Report it and the money stays on hold. No answer in 7 days releases it.

Buying a Roblox game: FAQ

Is it safe to buy a Roblox game on BLOXG?

Your payment is held in escrow by BLOXG, not sent to the seller. The seller transfers the game and ticks off every included item; the money is only released when you confirm, or 7 days after the transfer if you don't respond. If something is wrong you report it and an admin reviews it before any money moves.

How do I know the seller owns the game?

Before a listing goes live, the seller proves they control the game by putting a one-time BLOXG code in its Roblox description, which we read back from Roblox. Its Roblox owner is recorded and checked again every time stats refresh.

Where do the player counts and revenue numbers come from?

Players, visits, favorites and likes come live from Roblox. Monthly revenue, DAU, MAU and retention are reported by the seller; when BLOXG has checked the seller's Creator Dashboard or DevEx proof, the revenue is marked Verified by BLOXG.

How does a Roblox game get transferred?

Most games are sold with the Roblox group that owns them: the seller makes you the group's owner, so the experience, game passes and badges move with it. Some listings transfer the experience itself, or hand over the place file to publish yourself. Each listing says which.

What does buying a game cost?

The asking price (or the offer you agree), plus a 5% buyer protection and escrow fee and card processing. Paying from your BLOXG wallet skips the card fee. There's no subscription and nothing to pay to browse or make offers.

Can I make an offer below the asking price?

Yes, on listings marked Offers welcome. Offers start at half the asking price; the seller can accept, decline or counter once. An accepted offer holds the game for you for 48 hours while you pay.
