About animation on BLOXG
Roblox animation is its own art form β the platform's bone constraints, blend behavior, and rig limits all change how movement looks. A generic 3D animator's work will look subtly off in Roblox Studio. Roblox-specialist animators know how to lean into the platform's blocky charm or smooth past it depending on your art direction.
BLOXG lists animators who deliver R6 / R15 / Rthro-compatible animations β uploaded to Roblox or as raw .fbx + AnimationId integration guides. Common briefs: idle + walk + run + jump (the basic suite), combat sequences (M1s, abilities, ultimates), emotes, NPC behaviors, cinematic intros for game launches.
Why hire animation on BLOXG
- Roblox-rig-specialist animators (R6 / R15 / Rthro)
- Studio-ready output with AnimationId integration
- Sample portfolio reels on every profile
- Pair with 3D modeler for full character pipelines
Animation FAQ
Common questions about hiring animation on BLOXG. Still stuck? Hit Contact in the nav β we reply same business day.
Is the animation R6 or R15?
Both supported. R15 is the modern default for new games (more bones, smoother blends). R6 is still common for retro / blocky aesthetic. Rthro is for realistic-proportion characters. Confirm rig spec in the brief.
How is the animation delivered?
Two options: (1) Roblox-uploaded with an AnimationId you reference in code (most common), or (2) raw .fbx + integration guide. Most animators include both unless asked otherwise.
Can I get an animation suite (idle / walk / run)?
Yes β base suites (idle, walk, run, jump, fall) are the most common booking. Coordinated combat sets (M1, dash, ultimate) and emote packs are next most common.
Will the animation blend with my existing rig?
If you provide your rig + existing animations in the brief, yes β the animator will match style + bone structure. If not, expect a generic-style result. Always upload your existing assets in chat.
What about cinematic / cutscene animation?
Yes β cinematic intros + cutscenes are a separate sub-specialty. More expensive than gameplay loops. Look for animators with cinematic samples in their portfolio.
How does payment work?
When you click Buy now, the full amount (service price + 5% buyer fee) is charged and held in BLOXG escrow. The creator never sees the funds until you accept the delivery. Cancel before delivery β full refund. Creator no-show β full refund after admin review.
What happens if I don't like the work?
Use the built-in revision flow. After the creator marks delivered, you can Accept (releases escrow), Request revision (sends it back with notes β unlimited until you're happy), or flag the order for admin review. Refunds for off-brief work land back in your BLOXG wallet.
Can I chat with the creator before booking?
Yes. Every creator profile has a Message button β open a direct thread, ask about scope or timing, send your game link. When ready, click Buy now on a service or send a custom offer. Off-platform comms are auto-blocked to protect both sides.
What about copyright and ownership?
Default: you own the deliverable on accept. Source files (.psd / .ai / .fbx / .rbxm / .lua) are included unless the service explicitly says otherwise. Creators may keep portfolio rights to showcase the work. Confirm any unusual licensing in chat before booking.
