Create Roblox UI
Build responsive menus and define a consistent visual direction.
Start with a working menu#
Add Responsive game menu from Starter systems. It creates a ScreenGui and an open/close button. The button uses Activated so mouse and touch can trigger the same behaviour. Edit the labels, colours and dimensions in the generated LocalScript.
Design for small screens#
Use scale for broad layout and constraints for useful size limits. Keep primary actions visible, make text readable and test different screen shapes in Studio. A web preview cannot validate Roblox’s actual GUI layout.
Describe states, not just colours#
When asking for UI help, specify loading, empty, error and success states. Name which events update the screen. Keep purchases and rewards server-controlled even when the presentation is entirely client-side.
