Snapshots and project backups
Save checkpoints, restore earlier scripts and move projects between devices.
Save a checkpoint#
Choose Save checkpoint in the workspace before a larger edit. BLOXG AI keeps the five most recent local snapshots. A snapshot contains the project’s scripts at that moment; it is not a cloud backup or a Git commit.
Restore an earlier version#
Open History and choose a snapshot. Restoration asks you to confirm, then checkpoints the current files before replacing them. Older snapshots can fall out of the five-slot history, so download a full backup for important milestones.
Export and import backups#
Download a JSON project backup to keep the current files and stored snapshots. Import it to resume on another browser or device. Importing replaces the active local project after confirmation. Use a separate filename per project and keep copies outside the browser.
Git and team history#
For source review across a team, export individual scripts into your own repository. Native Git sync, branches and shared cloud history are not implemented in this preview. Do not treat browser storage as your only copy of a game.
