Sound effects and music

Learn what audio is needed for your Roblox game and what sound tools are planned.

Describe the sound’s purpose#

State what event you need to cover, how long the effect should last, in which mood and whether it is looping. Make distinctions between short UI feedback sounds, positional gameplay sounds and background ambience sounds. A coin pickup and a long ambient loop require different approaches.

Use approved audio assets#

Use the audio your experience is allowed to play. Test the volume and repetitions during a real gameplay session, where several sounds could be played at the same time. Don't make an essential game state understandable via sounds only.

AI audio is a future integration#

BLOXG AI does not generate SFX, music and voices at the moment. An audio provider, licensing workflow and usage controls would be required to offer these tools. Audio assets that already exist can be referenced via scripts in the browser workspace.
