About these guides. BLOXG AI is in development. Workspace guides cover the software prototype; Roblox Studio guides can be used independently.
Prototype

Snapshots and project backups

Create a checkpoint, restore previous scripts and move projects between devices.

Save a checkpoint#

Save a checkpoint in the browser workspace before a large edit. The BLOXG AI saves the five most recent local snapshots. A snapshot is the set of your project's scripts at that moment; it is not a cloud backup or a Git commit.

Restore an earlier version#

Open the History tab and select a snapshot. Restoration prompts you to confirm the operation, makes a new checkpoint and restores the selected files. Old snapshots can be removed from the five-snapshot history, so download a full JSON backup for important milestones.

Export and import backups#

Export a JSON project backup to save the current files and snapshots. Import it to resume working in the browser or on another device. Importing prompts to confirm the replacement of the currently opened project. Use distinct filenames for every project and store backups offline.

Git and team history#

In case of team collaboration, you should export individual scripts to your own repository. The native Git integration, sync and branches are not available in this preview. Don't think of browser storage as the only copy of your game.
