About these guides. BLOXG AI is in development. Workspace guides cover the software prototype; Roblox Studio guides can be used independently.
Prototype

Export to Roblox Studio

Move scripts to Studio via a downloadable Roblox model.

Download a Studio model#

The browser workspace exports .rbxmx - the XML format of the Roblox model. The resulting file includes the BLOXG AI Export folder with your scripts inside, grouped by services. Such grouping is done purposefully: importing a model will not automatically move your scripts to correct services.

Place scripts in their services#

Place the model in a test place in Studio. Move the scripts inside the ServerScriptService into the actual ServerScriptService, move the scripts inside the ReplicatedStorage into the actual ReplicatedStorage, and so on. In case of StarterPlayerScripts or StarterCharacterScripts, place the scripts into the corresponding container. Remove the empty folders after that.

Review before running#

The editor saves the explicit types of Script, LocalScript and ModuleScript. Double-check the types and the source before hitting Play. Export does not publish your game and does not run the source in the browser. Re-importing creates a new model and does not synchronise or remove old scripts.
